I forgot to mention, Mark, if you do not have any PSAs, I can help you with that. I'm on the PSA production committee here in Kenosha and we are always looking to help great organizations like Dryhooth get their messages out. You can contact me at: dav446@hotmail.com at your convenience. Let's roll!
Yes indeed, if there was a planning committee people could get involved that way. It's possible there is a small group that has been carrying the load and it's because they did not take time to get more folks to help carry it.
I just learned of this organization from the OnMilwaukee.com article...that should reach a lot of people. I then looked you up on Facebook and shared on my wall the posting about the Brady Street location. I agree with the recommendation of a volunteer section on the web page. I can do only so much monetarily, but would gladly give time as well. I may not be a veteran, but you all are very present in my heart.
Another thing you might consider, Mark. Why don't you have me and my staff come out and cover your next event. In addition to making an event film, I'll be willing to bet we can get a lot of PSA material as well. We're here to serve you, Mark!
Hi, I have been looking for an organization that I can donate my time to, and funds when I can, that works with our veterans. My father and father-in-law were in WWII, I lost my father-in-law, but thankfully my Father is still with us. Currrently my son-in-law is a Marine stationed in Afghanistan. I didn't know about this organization until I was driving home tonight and saw the billboard sign on southbound 45. That was definately noticable. I went on the website and I agree, there needs to be a place that points people like me to areas that you need volunteers for. Isee a Pancake event coming up that I can contact the coordinator to see how I can assist. It is great to find organizations like this and I will start to spread the word about Dryhootch.org! Thank you for your time, and thank you to all that have served this great nation. I appreciate all you have done and sacrificed. Sharon
