In the Madison area recent veterans and community members have come together to begin work on a website listing free and reduced fee services available to veterans in their local communities. Initially the site will focus on Madison and Milwaukee and as resources, volunteers, and time allow the site will expand to include at a minimum communities where National Guard units are based. To aid in seeking service providers who we can contact about offering free or reduced fee services we have created a survey: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=khW_2bXg0gw5tBvhpcQaxYfQ_3d_3d

If you are a veteran please complete this survey to help us out. If you know someone currently serving in the military who will return to Wisconsin following their service or deployment please share this link and information with them. The more feedback we get from this survey the better our website will be.

If you have looked at this survey you may have noticed that it is biased towards currently deployed military members. Please do not let this bias stop you from completing the survey. It was finalized by a deployed member of the WI National Guard and their significant other so it has their biases in regards to the information asked for. We are trying to get information from all veterans on services that are available to them in the local communities so please fill it out and pass it on.
