What color is PTSD. The American Legion uses the red poppy, the Vietnam Vets pick the "orange blossom" from agent orange fame.
What color is PTSD? What flower/poppy can we use to take to events and pass the message to think of those with invisible wounds, buy wounds that reach up in the middle of the night to strike and threaten again, as if the war never ended?
what color . . .

Just logged on, a long time after this was posted.  This is a beautiful photo and I like the play between dark and light, shows the flowers pushing out of the cool ground to be in the sun.  A beautiful visual, thank you!  Betsy

I hope everything is well for you. I also hope that this poem gets to you and helps to reinforce who you are and what you stand for. God bless, Daniel

After reading all the posts, my vote is for the camo bracelet.
Bob - where is this item - I replied below to an old idea (Connie Kangas) from September 20, 2009!?
I replied to this saying purple or blue in 2009, as my PTSD has reared up it's ugly head and invaded my everyday life I've changed it to black... and tried to paint what I feel... see the painting on my blog: http://artandlight.wordpress.com/2011/01/11/depression-pain-ptsd/

I've had enough. Good idea. THANK YOU!

Greetings all,

I am founder and president of the non-profit, PTSD Survivors of America.  The color used to represent PTSD is Teal.  You can find us on facebook at www.facebook.com/ptsdsoa or www.ptsdsurvivorsofamerica.org

The "Peace Lily" because it is pure white, symbolically PTSD knows no color. The "peace Lily" speaks softly of hope.

or The "Forget-me not" because we cannot and must never forget PTSD and what it is doing to our veterans, and has done throughout the history. It has an identity and a real name now.

I know someone in the ad specialty business who could research a manufacturer (preferably on in the US!)
