HEY, WE HAD A LOT OF FUN IN 2009, AND REACHED A LOT OF VETS AND FAMILIES.
We went to ROH, Summerfest, street festivals, parades, and more.

Where should we go in 2010!! Add all your suggestions here so we can "PLAN" out our year! Make sure we are at the right place, and it doesnt burn out our great volunteers from last minute phone calls.

Acknowledging that I am a nonveteran, i think that DryHootch needs to figure out ways to make veterans aware of what it is. In particular, we need to reach the men and women who have avoided connections to their period of military service. Some of these people probably are having problems, perhaps related to their miliary service, that woudl benefit from teh peer support DryHootch aims to provide. I like the idea of public spaces that are not necessarily military - Summerfest, air shows, for example. But I think that it might be interesting to go to some venues that are not very military, perhaps on a trial basis. Would the smaller ethnic festivals work - Italian, Irish, German, etc? Certainly, American Indians are very well represented in the military and are often not engaged with traditional veteran groups.
is dryhootch doing anything with the veterans day parade this year. any info would be greatly appreciated
