I want to add one further comment to all who read your letter, John:
The power of visits to our Veterans is extremely meaningful to them. Visits show that we as Americans care - at a time when they feel so lost and alone due to their serious injuries and health issues.
We must encourage everyone to reach out and volunteer some time to serve our Veterans - they served us first.

Thank you for sharing your reflections, John Scocos. I truly appreciated your presentation at our Wisconsin Warrior Summit.
It is up to the 99% of us who have not served to embrace our Troops and Veterans who are serving and have served.
No matter what our feelings are toward these two wars, our Veterans and their families deserve the best care possible. Your support is deeply appreciated.
I feel very proud to be a member of the dryhootch, whose members are reaching out to offer hope and healing to our returning Veterans. Thank you in a special way to our Viet Nam Veterans who are there to help in this important mission of service.
