- No just Nam era - I was a pencil pusher - they didn't let enlisted women out of the country until their 2nd or 3rd hitch & I couldn't wait to get out - you know, be the master of my own destiny etc., etc. Wish I had stayed in & retired, unless you're independently wealthy, you're never the master - just keep working for that golden retirement.
So, John WELCOME HOME to you & a huge THANK YOU!
