Tracy Lynn (Sims) Brandt said… Hi Lauren. Thank you for supporting veterans. My name is Tracy Brandt and I am a USAF veteran. Diane Szymanski and I are Volunteer Coordinators for the Madison Dryhootch. We are opening on May 15th & 16th (informational sessions) and our Grand Opening in Saturday, May 17th. I hope you can attend! We are seeking volunteers for many areas at the Madison site and we're wondering if you would be interested. Please feel free to contact me at 608-436-8659. I would like for you to contact Anthony Anderson, our Madison Director. It sounds like you have some great services to offer. (anthony@dryhootch.org)
Thanks again,
Tracy

After fighting for our freedom, Veterans come home and are suffering PTSD. Our project is Empowering our American Veterans through Art workshop. We are positive everyone in their life has been touched by a Veteran, now it is time say “Thank you” and support them. These workshops help them work through their trauma.
We are entering the final week of our Open Challenge. To date, we have raised 10% of our goal. We have partnered with the GlobalGiving Foundation to participate in its Open Challenge, a fundraising opportunity for nonprofit organizations working around the world.
In order to succeed in GlobalGiving’s Open Challenge, the Charles Allis Art Museum must raise $4,000 from 50 donors by December 22, 2010Please help us reach the threshold of $4,000 from 50 donors! Be one of the first people to make a donation at http://www.globalgiving.org/projects/empowering-our-american-veterans-through-art/ Not only will your donation help the Veterans Art program at the Charles Allis but, it will help us take advantage of a long-term fundraising opportunity!
Best,
Patty Redeker
