Inaugural Beaver Dam Heroes Fest

It was great finally meeting some of the Dryhootch crew. Who knew one of them was from LaCrosse ?
Dropped off some PR material ( heavy laminated for field work & many hands review ) and a copy of my latest CD.
Keep in touch for that November Art Museum Event -- Thanks and I hope you enjoy the tunes.

I was IIB CBT Infantry grunt from FT Polk AIT when I arrived In Country. They needed a 71L Clerk Typist with great handwriting for the 214th BN HHC Message Center. I had NO previous Army Admin experience. It was all OJT. Within 6 months I had our BN and subsequent companies humming like a Swiss Watch.
Did Phu Bai have a nice dispensary ? Or an Evac HSP ?

Ho Here: I was actually based at Camp Eagle, near Phu Bai. I don't recall a Chinook Unit, but I don't recall one at Eagle either, although Chinooks were in and out of there routinely. I guess I never thought about from whence they came.
