Paul-- First of all you must remember that you are my Brother --a fellow Vietnam Vet that served with the same unit at the same time I did-- the 815th Engineers-- Camp Dillard-- QL 20 central highlands of South Vietnam in 1971.  I have been searching the internet for a few years looking for Crew Members of the 815th Engineers Guntruck "Wild Thing"   -- I'm doing this because a Historian in Fort Wayne IN. spent $30,000+ of his own money to recreate almost an exact replica of the 815th Guntruck Wild Thing.  The replica Wild Thing is a traveling museum along with about 8 or 9 other Guntruck replicas travels to different places in the eastern US for public display. Even the average Vietnam Vet does not know anything about these unauthorized Military armored trucks that were used in Vietnam. Somewhere of about 400 of these homemade hillbilly uparmored trucks were used in the latter part of the War.   --- The Wild Thing was only used from late 1969-early 1970 to 1972.    I have been trying very hard to find original Crew Members to be part of this historic Museum.  In our travels from Branson MO. to Pigeon Forge Tn to Carlisel Pa. and everything in between. We have had thousands of children and adults actually get up on the truck and learn what might have been a lost part of History.   I read on the internet that you were connected with the Wild Thing Guntruck in 1971.   Thank you-- Web

Maybe named Roach Coach?   Can you help me?     There is a 815th site somewhere on the internet.    Thanks  Web
