Dollar General at 5679 South 27th St. will be donating toys bought at their store for the children of our military personnel to say "thank you for serving" to our many families who have children whose parents are or have served our Country.
Please stop by the store and say thank you to the General Manager, Terry, and his staff for thinking of us at this time. They want to make sure that every child has something for christmas, a book, a puzzle, a toy, etc. The most important message that Dollar General staff want to convey is that they are part of the many people who care about the men and women who may be separated from their families at this time.
The toys collected will be donated to dryhootch and American Legion Post 18 and distributed to families near Christmas time.
Over the past year, Dollar General has donated many items that I have shared with dryhootch, American Legion Post 18, Woman's room at VA hospital, patients in the VA hospital, homeless veterans programs and other programs for Veterans. Thank you for your generous sharing.
Continued blessings to all who serve and who care.
Sister Ann Catherine
