Daniel: Has your father been on the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight for WWII vets? My husband was guardian to his Dad when they went on the April 2011 flight. Kind of cool to have both father and son both military vets. Out of a family of 13 children, my husband is the only one to have joined the military. He served on the USS Constellation CV-64 ship. My Dad almost got sent to Vietnam, but got lucky and was sent home. He said he never prayed so hard in his entire life!
Thank you for the welcome! My father-in-law is a World War II P-47 Thunderbolt Pilot, just turned 91 this month in March. My Dad was a Medic in the Navy from 1958-1962, and my husband was an Operations Specialist in the Navy from 1984-1987 Active duty, and in the Navy Reserves from 1988-1995. So thankful and grateful for all of our military men & women!
Thank you for the welcome, Daniel! :) My father was an Army Veteran, he served in WWII. I am currently a student and hope to work with Veterans and their families in the future.

Dan,
Thank you. I would like to start a dryhootch in green bay but I am not sure I have the skills. What do you think I should do? Any suggestions?
I'm so sorry to hear that, I apologize - I didn't know. He lives on within you.
